Documenting the end of civilization for future generations at the hand of the zombie horde is a noble cause, so you're going to need a good digital camera. You may as well throw in a 2G or 4G SD memory card, too. You'll want a digital SLR camera to capture the horror. In fact, you could set up your camera on a tripod and lure the undead to your location by posing like a giant hotdog or a turkey leg. It's all the same to an undead monster. Then you can get some good closeups using a remote. But I guess a telephoto lens would be simpler.
